Have paid the first 6 months up front, does anyone know what date revenue plan on debiting my bank account for the full year 2014? Will this happen in January or July like this year?

    Cheers

"1 January 2014: If paying your LPT in full by cash, payment must be made by 1 January 2014."

Does this mean it will be debited from my bank account on the 1st January 2014??

Finally got Revenue, they said that a letter will be sent in November, they don't actually have a date yet as to when the full year will be taken for 2014 yet - now why doesn't that surprise me

Just found this on the Money Guide, It may well be useful.
From what I can read into this, if playing by Credit Card then Nov 27th 2013 is the date when your payment will have to be confirmed by. If you choose credit card it comes out immediately.

I stand to be corrected but that is my reading

In fairness to Revenue, you didn't get them at all. The LPT is outsourced to a private company.

    Full details here -

You have to confirm how you want to pay for 2014 . Letters on the way now.
Be aware if you want to pay by card it will be taken as soon as you respond - and you have to respond before 28th November 2013.
    Christmas budget out the window!

Property Tax Lump Sum Payment Dates for 2014
Credit/Debit Card payments: (online only): The full amount will be charged to your card on the day you select this payment method for paying your 2014 LPT liability. (So that will be November 27th 2013 at the latest)
1st January 2014: If you are paying your LPT in full by cheque – payment must be made by the latest 1st January 2014. (Revenue expect you to send your cheque back with the payment form by 7th Nov 2013)
15th January 2014 - This is the date of the first LPT direct debit.
21st March 2014: Single Debit Authority payments will be deducted from bank accounts on this date.
