    Hello,

Does anyone know what happens if you miss a repeat due to an illness and can provide medical proof for it.

Do you have to repeat the year or can you do that repeat during the next exam period in January?

    Thanks

I'd say they will make you re do the year.

What happens if you fail a deferral..you have had only one attempt at it technically..do you have to repeat the year?

In some circumstances, if the module / exam is not a prerequisite for the next sememster or year you can be allowed to carry it and repeat it again.

It totally depends on the module, award level, course etc. Your best bet is to ring your school secretary and try to talk to the head of school or department. They are the only ones who can answer for certain.

Not often but it has not been uncommon in the past. Again totally depends on the module and circumstances. Get talking to the school before making any plans.
