    hi lads, looks like ill be going to st pats next year, im from kerry so i literally no NOTHING about the social life there or accomodation so if anyone wants to share advice or experiences there please do, much appreciated

    Take a look at the DCU forum.
    But St Pats is located in Drumcondra which is a nice spot - some good pubs Fagans and Quinns. Close to town, close other areas to say like Phibsboro or North Inner city.
    Nice places to go for walks, jog, Griffith Ave, Griffith Park, Botanic Gardens nearby etc.

    Drumcondra has good Student Population with DCU, St. Pats, Mater Dei and All Hallows.
