Hi guys, 10 weeks pregnant and reeeeally craving sushi! Obviously I know I should stay away from the sushi containing raw fish, salmon, tuna etc...

But does anyone know if the sushi rolls with the cooked meats are ok to eat? Eg. The duck maki, or the prawn, crab or vegetarian rolls? Is the nori (seaweed) on the rolls ok to eat?

    :-)

Cooked is fine. I didn't take a chance on the fresh ones but I understand they are frozen to kill bacteria and fine to eat from a reputable source.

It's fine. I have eaten piles of veggie sushi in my pregnancies. I love sushi. The only part of sushi you are meant to be avoiding is raw fish. The pickled ginger and starchy goodness of the rice i find great for nausea.

I don't like the texture of the cooked meat or fish ones, i usually go for avocado or something like that.
