Incident Clontarf Road to Killester DART

    From the Irish Rail web site:

    All services suspended between Clontarf Road and Killester.

    16 August 2013
    All services are suspended between Clontarf Rd and Killester until further notice due to a person on the line being struck by a train. Emergency services are attending.
    Dublin Bus are accepting rail tickets for Northside customers.
    This website will be updated as further information is made available.
    Iarnród Éireann apologies for any incovenience caused.

    They have said it could be up to a 3 hour delay at the station

    Services have resumed. One Dart went north and another south. Thankfully it doesnt seem to be too serious.

    Jesus hope they are ok, waiting nearly an hour at kilbarrack dart station ealier wouldn't pass killester.

    I was on the DART. Hit a woman just past the bridge at Clontarf at 15:45. I knew straight away we hit someone with how the train stopped and the alarm sounding from the cab from emergency brake being applied. Could actually feel and hear the impact.
