Just read about this - it is a listing of experts which is then given to journalists, editors etc. Costs money to be listed. Does anyone know if it has been successful in the past? Has anyone paid to be listed before? Did it result in media contacting them as experts in their field?

    Avoid like the plague!

Journalists/media organisations will have their own contacts built up over years.

If you believe yourself to be an expert in your field you should start by contacting magazines/websites in your field and offer to write articles on whatever you think may be of interest to their readers. They probably won't pay you but they will publish your contact details.

If they think you can write well and have something to say, they will get back in touch with you.
