this video by filmmaker SG Collins explains (pretty convincingly IMO) why it would have been impossible for Kubrick or anyone else to fake the moon landings with the technology available at the time.

there was also this I watched last night but I do not know enough about front screen projection or photography to know which claims are right
Very good film but the CT's would say he is a shill. Pity he did not comment on front screen projection

I find it very unlikely that 1. they'd go to the all that bother to fake the moon set and make the special effect only to miss the fact that the helmet's visors give the game away. Or that 2. infamous perfectionist and control freak Stanley Kubrick would let such a mistake go.

And I still don't understand why they needed to engage in a vast, complicated, expensive easily exposed hoaxed when they could have just gone to the Moon.

We know they went to the moon, there are mirrors on the surface on the moon that were placed by astronauts that lasers from earth can relfect beams off.

Sounds like you want to believe nobody went to the moon and won't listen to any evidence put forward at all.

no i don't. that evidence above re mirrors means nothing. I believe they went to the moon but the mirror issue is irrelevant as it could have been put there byu astronauts or by some sort of machine

You just need to add another couple of thousand people to the conspiracy....

All of the people who worked on the orbiter that took those pictures.
All of the people who faked the image.
All of the experts who could tell it's a fake.
And then presumably, all of the people who would work on future missions where these tracks would or would not be visible.

Suggesting even something as simple as that for a tiny part of the cover up requires a another ridiculous addition to the conspiracy.

And again for seemingly no benefit as it would just be cheaper to send people to the moon.

About 10 years ago Neil Armstrong did an interview in the National Concert Hall with Gay Byrne as part of 6 radio recorded interviews withhigh profile people. Armstrong only gave 7 or 8 interviews a year. Luckily I got a ticket, there were some really interesting things out of the evening, Armstrong was a nervous wreck initially, speaking in public was not natural to him (dispite being an academic and teaching), he only settled in after about 20 minutes. He was completly credible (I know, basis of a conspiricy thory) from speaking about his youth to learning to fly to his military and combat experience.

At the end of the evening there was an invitation from Gay Byrne for questions from the audience, and there was the inevitable of did man actually land on the moon, despite the general boos and dissatisfaction from the audience Armstrong said it was a great question and said that there were 250,000 people working on the programme (apollo 11) and it would be easier to fake it than to do it.

Extrapolate that out by 5 other landings and there hasn't been any flood of NASA employees coming out to refute what happened.

You can see the landing site from earth with a decent telescope.

But "they" probably put that stuff there to keep up the conspiracy.
