What price would you sell it for?

Hey guys I had the thing built here so thought maybe it would be the best place to enquire about cost.

Basically I've had trouble with my right arm for nearly 2 years, it was obviously due to poor PC use and over use. Get discomfort from the back of my hand, down my forearm to my elbow. Sometimes all areas, sometimes some.

I had gone to my Doctor a while back and he told me it was just repetitive use of some muscles.
Anyway just last night I googled the symptoms for the first time ever in the hopes of alleviating it.

Seems I have Tennis Elbow among other things, moral of the story.... be careful how you use a keyboard and mouse.

So guess it's time to sell my gaming PC, not much point having one if I can only use my Xbox pad(which I've switched to lately as the discomfort is just constant these days)

    These are the parts:

    Intel Core i5-2500K Box, LGA1155
    ASRock P67 Extreme4 (B3), Sockel 1155, ATX
    4GB-KIT Mushkin Silverline Stiletto PC3-10667U CL9-9-9-24
    Sapphire HD 6950 2GB GDDR5 PCI-Express
    Super-Flower Amazon 80Plus 800W
Cooler Master HAF 912 schwarz, ohne Netzteil
    Samsung SpinPoint F3 1000GB, SATA II (HD103SJ)
    Samsung SH-223C bare schwarz SATA

Ignore the troll. Are you including a monitor?

About 600 I would say as it is above. Maybe a bit less.

Sorry but you could get a new PC with more grunt for gaming €600. Not trolling, I would be happy to get €400 tops.

No you couldn't. He has a 2500k which would outperform the FX-6300 (the go-to CPU in that price range).

His case is nice. His card is worth a 100 euro.

And the PSU is a quality unit, more than capable of multi (2-3) card setups. The PUS alone is worth 60 - 70 second hand.

Yeah he might get more for it if he breaks it up. If he gets 600€ I will be very very very very veerryyy surprised. :)
2500k is great, I have 1, but GPU most important if it is a gaming machine.
    But anyway GLWS.

Nah that's not what I meant. If he got good prices for everything individually he might well make 600 or more. He is also entitled to a premium as its already assembled.

I think 550 - 600 is fair. Maybe close to 550 now i think about t. The PSU is excellent, the card is decent, the CPU is very capable.

Thanks for the input lads, I was thinking a happy range would be E400-E500 but just wanted to see what a more seasoned builder thought.

When I built it, future proofing was something I asked for. I never bothered trying to overclock it thus far and haven't had a problem playing any game at max settings.

Nah no monitor and the gaming mouse died about 3 months ago.

I might just put it up for E500 so.

Cheers guys... I return to console gaming come PS4 I guess :(........... :pac:

You could try one of those mice that remain stationary(along with your hand), that have a kind of giant trackball instead. Im pretty sure logitech do one. Take a while to get used to but as far as i know it was developed to mitigate these repetitve stress injuries

If you want 500 you have to put it up for 600.
It's a sad state of affairs really

Read something about them last night, I think my arm is in too much of a bad state for that now.
It started using a mouse on a bed from a higher chair(arched angle), overuse, poor typing technique(I use my index fingers only and cover about 80% with my right hand, which again compounds the muscle with the mouse on top) and poor table set up in recent times(never had support for anything bar my wrist really)

I just want to get away from computers for the forseeable future. Hopefully in a year or two I'll be able to return with adjustments but for now I think I need rest.

Ya I know that alright, I've always been a very fair seller on adverts and people would always try to under cut that bit more.
    :pac:

Sounds like carpal tunnel. Never suffered from it in about 10 years of heavy pc use.

I'd say about €500-€600 for the pc. Try adverts.ie for €600.

Have you tried exercise? Strengthening the muscles would no doubt help. Get some dumbbells and start doing some exercise at home.

I've had more minor versions of this in the past with work PCs. I'd second the suggestion to try a trackball , alternatively there are a few good ergonomic mice out there. I'd also suggest talking to your doctor about various wrist supports that are available
