    Hi all,
I have an 80cm dish with multi lnb setup feeding an azbox prem+. Is it possible to split the feed coming from the diseqc switch & run it to a pc as well with a suitable diseqc compliant sat card installed. Just curious if this would work ?
    Ta for any help.

I'm afraid not , you cannot split a satellite feed, each receiver needs a separate input so you would need to change the lnb's to twin output for a second receiver and feed this to a second diseq switch if you wanted to watch more than one satellite position.

    Hope this helps

I believe it would work if you used a power-passing splitter, however you could only use one at a time. There are four groups of channels, Low Horizontal, High Horizontal, Low Vertical, High Vertical. In order to tell the LNB which to use, the box sends out either 13 or 18 volts, and for high band, sends a 22khz tone on the cable. The only time they could work together is if both were tuned to a channel on the Low Vertical section.
And as you have a DiSEqC switch, they would also have to be tuned to the same satellite
