Time is reserved but they havent created the competition usually. Or sometimes a name mismatch between the comp and the reservation name.
Phone you club and let them know if you really think it should be bookable.

    Off topic, but on topic:

Fair play to them for utterly dominating the Irish market. System look is a bit too early 90s at this stage though. Maybe new owners will give it a makeover. Fundamentals are good though and decent guys to deal with.

I used the BRS booking system last night for visitor green fees (non Comp) and filled in the usual name & address .... but it did not look for my credit card details. It clearly states that my card would be charged should I fail to show up, but how ? Admittedly it may have an old card logged in from many years ago (I think I may have used it once or twice in the past), but that card would be well out of date.

Anyone used it recently and not required a credit card number (or GUI number for that matter) ?

Yep, and same as you it was for Visitors' fees. Wasn't asked for card details and did think it was strange.

Talk to the club directly and aske them how they have it set up. I know BRS was upgraded with a few changes lately so it may have something to do with that.
