Anyone know if they're going to bring back this route for 2013/2014 season?
    Thx

    I don't know.
I know Ryanair ditched their flights to Saltzburg which was very handy for ski resorts. You would think there would be business for them in the winter to fly there

I know Flying to Munich may be a bit of extra time, but it does suit going to most Austrian Ski -Resorts

Would be suprised if Aer lingus pull it other options include Zurich and a direct train to Austria St Anton being the easiest option

Swiss also fly Dublin to Zurich
While swiss is a bit more pricey generall if you book in advance it can be reasonably priced - Return circa 200

Jet2 offer flights from Belfast to Saltzburg in the Winter - may be worth a look

If you are going SWISS, Luggage allowance = 23KG checked back and a Ski bag!!! You get food and I flew with them 7 times last winter and never paid more than €200 Euro for a return flight! Ebookers is your friend.

Swiss are great to fly with. Zurich airport in general is a nice place to be/fly to, was there last week. Aer Lingus tend to fly in arriving around 8 which is a bit of a pain in terms of getting out on the road and arriving late.

Have got the train from the Airport to Innsbruck before, stops in St Anton and its not too pricey at all.

Swiss are great but for some reason you can't buy a one way ticket with them, its always about 4 times the cost of the return.

This becomes relevant if you want to get the train to St Anton, Aer Lingus flight is about 10 minutes too late to catch the last train. If you get the Swiss one you have to spend the last night of your trip in or near Zurich airport to get the flight the next morning. Its a real pity because the train journey is nice and I've gotten return ticket for 40 euro in the past, St Anton train station is slap bang in centre of town.

On the other hand the car journey is pretty doable, just over two hours and a car comes in handy in St Anton as the best pistes are in Zurs.

a148pro, book return and a one way with someone else! Sometimes it actually works out cheaper!

For St. Anton ... Fly Ryanair into Memmingen and get the train down, connection works out well.
