Buying a 3ds that has a specific firmware version

    Does anyone know where I could find a 3DS Xl with a firmware version of 4.5 or below. Is there anyway to tell from looking at the box what firmware version it has?

    There is no way, aside from asking at the counter what firmware it is (secondhand obviously) or on adverts/donedeal etc.
    You can get to 4.5 with very specific games.

    just wait for them to get it working on 6.0, the vulnerability they're using hasn't been fixed by Nintendo just yet.

    It's the cheapest I could find and I reckon they've had them since May so its probably below 4.5.
