Hi, I'm looking to buy couple laptops for family members.

One is for the everyday use/entertainment that will be able surf internet, play HD videos etc. Budget is 300-450.

Other one is for college work that will be able to run some intensive programs, multitask, play HD videos etc. Light gaming will be bonus but not necessary. Budget is 400-550.

Advice on any brands that I should look for or avoid and advice on good websites would be welcome.
