    Looking at one of these. Does it still have the dpf issues that the 2 litre diesel had

    They aren't perfect tbh. There's scope for oil dilution on the 2.2 but nowhere near as much as the 2 litre. And all it takes to avoid is to check the oil once a week really. Oil strainer pick ups seem to be a preventative maintenance job on higher mileage ones from reading about.

    Have read more of 2.2 failures on boards than owners forums but that's not to say they don't happen. I'd be curious for more information on the failures afterwards though.

    Had one and couldn't really fault it that much tbh, but I didn't keep it to high miles or anything.
