I know how to upload a pic, but how do you display it in a thread?
    Thanks.

Upload the photo to a site like pix.ie flickr.com etc. Then view the photo on that photo sharing website, point the mouse at it and right-click, then select 'Copy Image Location', this will copy the image location to the clipboard.

Now create your post for the appropriate thread and when in edit mode you will see above the edit window a series of icons, one of which looks like a yellow envelope with a stamp. When you hover the mouse over that icon, you will see a bubble 'Insert Image'. Click that icon and a window will popup, press Ctrl+V to paste the image location, then click OK and your photo will appear inline in the post.

Upload the image to imgur (either from your computer or from the web). When done, you'll get a variety of coded links for different purposes, copy the link with IMG tags (under BBCode (message boards & forums)) and paste it into your message

    Or you could:

    1. Upload it as an attachment in the post
    2. On the attachment window, right click on the image you uploaded and click Copy Image Location
    3. Then in the post, click on the Yellow button with the mountain and paste it by right clicking and paste. That's it

Use Imgur etc. The boards image host has periods of being glacially slow.
