Skid testing

There is a corner on the road from Loughrea to Gort that got resurfaced within the last year or so. I travel this road about once a month and have seen an overturned lorry and a car crashed into the same wall. The corner is lethal and is like driving on ice.

Thing is yesterday, someone I know skidded whilst driving slowly on that exact corner and rolled the car over. He was fine but cars a write off.

So my question is, do the council have to do road skid tests on newly resurfaced/built roads. It's only a matter of time before someone ends up dead if it hasn't happened already. I'm not looking into it for any compo BS, would just like to see road fixed.

    Thanks
