Romantic Sun Holiday in October

Hi Just looking for recommendations for a one week holiday in mid October...we want to go somewhere romantic (if possible) and definately warm...we want to be able to sit by the pool/swim in the sea. Other than Lanzarote/Gran Canaria is there anywhere (not long haul) that you would recommend !!! Thanks :)
