    Hi lads,
I was wondering if I need planing permission to build something like this in my back garden. It is around 30ft high but can be cranked up to roughly 50ft if needed, It can also be tilted right down to the ground very easily.

I am wondering if I need planning permission for such a mast? I live in the countryside with only a couple of neighbours around me. One doesn't like the idea of it at all. I have an amateur radio licence btw.

    Thanks

phone call to your local planning office!

local by-laws etc make this a minefield to give hard & fast rules.
