    Mahon

Mahon is probably the closest to the city centre but plenty of other courses within 10-15 minutes by car. Cobh, WaterRock, Blarney and Lee Valley would be in that category and should have reasonably priced green fees.

Douglas and Monkstown are other options but I suspect that their green fees will be a little higher.

No idea if any of those courses offer 9 hole green fees.

If you play 9 holes in Mahon then I suggest skipping numbers 2&3 or keep playing until number 11 as that is close to the clubhouse. Also 11 is a good chance to finish with a birdie as it is a par 5 that is reachable in 2 shots for a man of your talents ;)

No.6 is closed due to construction, so the lad on the phone told me today. 15 notes for the open. If I had a choice for a quick 9 it would be Raffeen.
