I will be going into 6th year (LC) this September and I have a few questions about the new PSSD course.

    - How is this course different from 'B.Sc in Computer Applications (DC121)'? Is the project work in PSSD the only difference between them?
Could you list the disadvantages and advantages of PSSD over CA. (if any).

    - Would I have any chance of getting into this course?
I guess that because there is no LC point requirements, there will be heavy computer experience requirements.
    Some info about me:
I started 'programming' about 4 years ago, I started with HTML, continued into PHP, SQL, Pascal, Java, CSS, JavaScript, C++ and I have recently learned the basics of 64-bit Assembly for Intel CPUs. My biggest project is an unfinished but working android 2D game made without using any 3rd-party libraries (Its about two thousand lines long).

The thing is that I have lost most of my old (3-4 years old) projects, and I has a tendency to 'abandon' old projects and start new ones, so there is very few of fully finished projects which could possibly put in my portfolio. Also I have never took part in any competitions or programming clubs such as CoderDojo (I live in a middle of nowhere).
So do you reckon I would have a chance of getting into PSSD, and what else should I learn/improve to have bigger chances of getting in?

(I know it's a new course but I hope there will be someone who can answer these)

    Thanks for your time,
    Mario95.
