Just had some repair work done to the Chassis leg as the wife had small bump and leg extension was damaged, since i got it back the airbag light has been flashing 4 times then pause then 2 times.
Been having a look online and i checked the connectors under the seat and are ok and just checked the front sensor next to the bonnet lock and the sensor was not connected and there is no connector for it.
I've traced the loom along and it's not on there,I'm thinking now has the airbags been unplugged since we bought the car in 2008 and now we have had this repair they have been switched back on throwing up this fault.
Any ideas what i can do.

this is flash code 42 and does refer to your crash sensor of which you say the connector is missing so if the light wasn't on before you got the car repaired i'd have another look for the missing connector and reconnect it as it must be there somewhere.

Yes have been looking for it just can't find it anywhere, there is a connector loose but does not fit sensor. I'm wondering has it been disconnected at the airbag module since we bought it in 08.

i doubt it has been disconnected at the module as that would involve snipping the 2 wires and wouldn't solve the problem as the front crash sensor signal is needed, the connector should be between the radiator and front grill.

Found the connector last night,he had it plugged into bonnet lock so i unplugged it and connected it to crash sensor and light has gone out. Just hope the airbags go off now while the wife's driving it :D
