Current delay in customs?

Hi,
Anyone know what the current time spent clearing customs is?

Have a parcel arriving from China that went to customs yesterday.

Was really hoping to have it before the weekend but I doubt it at this stage.

There's a shed load of calculators arriving from china confusing the bejaysus out of customs right now

Do you know which customs office it is in? If so, you could try ringing them and asking.

I'm expecting 2 of those "calculators"

It's the Dublin Mail Centre Customs in Dublin 12.
Quick Google tells me it's actually quite near where I work

Might give them a ring after 9.
I wonder is there any chance of just dropping up??

Rang them - delivery Monday.
If you email them the parcel number & a receipt to dmc@revenue.ie it speeds it up seemingly.

There's no "public pick-up facility" from customs

I've had an item stuck in customs since the 9th of August. Dunno what the hell is taking them so long. Just a point and shoot camera like.
