Medical Card application closed.

    Applied for a HSE Medical Card a few months back,got a letter posted last month with an attachment to be filled out and sent back-unfortunately this past month has, for me, been hectic and traumatic in equal measures, had to deal with some serious familial issues,- I received the letter one day and, foolishly, didn't read it properly.

    There was a deadline for returning the filled-out attachment which passed 4 days ago. The letter stated that if the necessary information had not been received by the deadline, my application would be closed-does this mean I can never again apply for a medical card, or do I have to start from scratch and reapply all over again?
    Any help on this would be greatly appreciated! I know I was being foolish by not paying closer attention to the finer details, no need to point that out:o

    No it just means you should have to start the process again, it happens alot with people suffering from serious illness as you can imagine.


    Send a mail through the site and just see is your case closed, if it is reapply again with more up to date documents.
