JSA dropping every week!

My girlfriend is employed but has no hours and is unlikely to get any more. She has been getting JSA based on no hours (X's in every box) for the last four weeks. However, over the last three weeks her JSA cheque has dropped from €188 to €168 to €150. I suspect it's going to decrease further and I'm starting to get worried for her.

    Any idea what's happening?

No - have you asked social welfare?

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.

If she cant get through on the phone maybe she should call into them and ask whats going on.

If she has marked the dockets correctly then id say its a mistake, best call into them and sort it out.
