Need Help to decide on masters in September or not!

So I finished commerce in May and suppose to be starting a masters in university in September, deposit paid way back in year. I didn't get to apply in milk rounds last year for a couple of different reasons I wont go into now, therefore no sponsorship.
The more I think about it funds are looking rather tight, Currently working in a pub, will I be able to continue few evenings a week and weekends while doing the masters? how intensive will it be, are we talking a big step up from undergrad?
Also, im preferably after big4, either Audit or Tax, how certain can I be of a contract, I have no intern-ships work experience to date. I know nothing is guaranteed.
Also I have seen on this forum before, of the big 4 offering some contribution to students already on a masters course, even if they were no sponsoring them already, ie if they hadn't applied the previous year. Anyone every hear of anything like this.

Howdy. I did a Masters after Commerce. The majority of students who came from Commerce into the masters programme who didn't have a contract with the Big4 ended up getting a contract when they applied again so you'll prob have a greater chance of getting a contract if you do the Masters. And if I remembered correctly - some students did get a contribution from the Big4 when they got a contract in the Masters programme. This prob depends on the firm itself.
The masters was a big step up from the undergrad with assignments and study but not as bad as I had expected, but I didn't work during it but I know some students did on weekends.
You should get in contact with the course co-ordinator with your concerns, ask for a timetable - depending on how free the timetable is you could study during the day inbetween lectures.
