    Hi All,
Not used to posting so hope this reaches some audience!
Wanting to buy a second hand car sporty preferable.
Have a lovely 1.6 98 Renault Megane Coupe and it owes me nothing so its time to change.
Looking at the Renault Megane Cabriolet and the Merc Kompressor Coupe C180 and the Alfa Romeo GT. Could anyone advise? Would like to stick with at least a 1.6. Don't do a whole lot of mileage probably 6k a year.
    Would appreciate any advice.

Firstly, don't bother trading in the megane, whoever you buy off wont be paying for it. You'll do better buying straight.

The newer megane is nowhere near as robust as your current car.

There's a bit of value in megane convertibles, they give window regulator problems and make sure they have two keys and recent timing belt change, after that they're not bad at all.
