Hi, I'll be in Dublin with a friend on Saturday & we're just trying to figure out the best way to get around.
We need to get from heuston station to the green isle hotel in newlands cross, basically just to check in/drop bags. Then from there to Parnell Sq/O Connell st. Does anyone have any idea of the cost of each of those journeys in a taxi?
    Thanks so much.

You are looking at €20+ for each trip. It's a fair spin out plus the tax rank at Heuston is on the wrong side of the road so it has to go around the block to start off the trip, so to speak. If you are budget watching then get the Luas from Heuston to Red Cow and walk from there; it's about 1 KM away.
