Been there and I'd really advise to put your money towards a good 4 star hotel..
Pool stunk, most of the staff just didn't want to be there, more like a 2 star hotel, the outside is nice, but the second floor rooms look like they have been used for parties and the carpets never cleaned..

If you already got a coupon, insist on a room on the 3 floor and if there are none leave..

Forgot to mention the lack of towels in the pool, being told to go back to your room and get the towels from there, no shampoo in the room or the pool, no minibar, very little natural light in the rooms(1 tiny window) and the restaurant when it was quite waiting 30 minutes for the starter after it was ordered, and 40 minutes for the main meal..

Maybe someone else has some good things to say about the place, if so please let me know...

To me this looks like a Celtic tiger built hotel, that needs to be tidyed up but they don't have the money to do it..

I stayed there a few years ago and enjoyed my stay.

Although there were very few guests staying there, there was quite a relaxed atmosphere.

Room was nice from what I can remember.

Got to agree with kenneth2 and advise to steer clear. When it opened it was a really nice hotel. Was at a wedding there 6 or 7 years ago and couldn't fault the place. Had a great time.
Decided to go back about 18 months ago. It had deteriorated greatly in the intervening years. Rooms could do with sprucing up a bit, as could the pool area. Long time waiting at bar and in restaraunt, despite only a few people being there. It looks like they had to cut back on all staff including cleaners.

Not good value at any price. As Ken2 advises put the money towards another hotel or a meal out.

people are all giving out about towels, shampoo etc. Lets get to the heart of the matter here.
