    Heya,

Can anybody recommend a good motor parts shop in Galway. I need some stuff for a toyota starlet.

I was told to go motorpark because they're offical Toyota parts dealers but that that sounds expensive.

Depends what you need. Some parts are main dealer only. Carlbro on the tuam road or KD auto opposite monaghans garage are good.

Hi you should be able to get the wiper linkage repaired if it is not falling apart in a good machine shop ( metal workshop ). I repaired the linkage in my e34 & it is as good as new again beats paying 1500 euro for a new one.

    1500? Was that a typo?

(mine is in pretty bad shape)

Here is a link to the proof of cost of new linkage minus labour in fitting.

Are you trying to bypass some sort of filter? lol

OP, ask in Motorpark for a quote so you know what they charge.
Then check with other sources online, the above for instance or micksgarage etc.

List price is just under 200 for a brand new OEM wiper linkage.
Price the shocks from Toyota as well, you could be surprised at how reasonable some of their prices are.
Some things are expensive some are cheap it depends....

I use Calbro all the time; lads are decent to deal with prices too are reasonable.
