I'm looking to grab a new laptop as my current netbook is dying. I was thinking if grabbing a cheap one in the back to school offers but I have no idea on the specs I 'll need!

    I'm looking for something that:-

I can do school work on
    Can browse web
    Watch films/TV shows
    Download music/films

I know I'll need decent speakers and a decent sized screen but I have no clue about anything else.

My netbook is clogged up from all the stuff I have on it and I'm trying to avoid letting that happen again.

I was looking a tescos latest offers and I was wondering are they any good?

I don't want to be spending much more that €500. Just something that will do me through college

If you can recommend a laptop or let me know what I should look out for it would be a great help!

Is there any particular makes/brands which I should look out for or avoid?

Not really. When it comes to budget laptops, there isn't much between them.

    Just don't buy anything Advent.

Here are some more... prices in Sterling, add £10 for delivery.
