Ploughed in July and seed went in on the 22/07 which i 3 weeks now. Grass is coming up nicely in places and tried the pull test in some areas and it breaking fine

Weather has been great since it went in with lots of moisture. How long do people leave it before the graze?? I know every field is differnent but wondering is there a rule of thumb. I have plenty of lambs waiting in the next field and wondering when i should let them in

about 10days after post emergent spraying.

rule of thumb for post emergent spray is 6-8wks but i find that a bit long and would be happy at 4wks if the growth has been good.

Sorry to hijack. Sprayed post emergence last Sat. It was sprayed with Undersown. What's the very soonest it can be grazed. There are no noxious weeds. Need to get it sprayed as soon as possible. With the growth of the last 10 days, it badly needs to be grazed.

Try walking the field and see observe what is happening to the weeds you might find your happy with how the kill is going. I would hold out for 7days min
