United Airlines or Aer Lingus?!

    Hi there

I hope someone can clarify this for me.

I was pricing flights from Dublin to Orlando (direct), Aer Lingus were around the 800 euro mark and United Airlines were around 500 euro. Naturally enough I booked the latter.

It seems to be that I will still be travelling on that Aer Lingus plane/flight though, as the flight times are identical? Would that be correct?

    Thanks!

I would book the cheaper one as more than likely it is just the one flight not two. They are partners. I have booked klm and ended up on aer lingus plane and air France.

Oh great thanks. I've booked it and only now am I asking the questions! Typical woman eh!

I don't think I have the option of checking in online unfortuantely, so when I check in at the airport, do I go to an Aer Lingus desk? Sorry for all the questions!

Are you sure you have got direct flights? On another forum the info was that the codeshare between AL & United to Orlando was no longer, just tried to do a dummy booking on the United site for Tuesday & Thursday travel next June and the message back on the United site is

! There are no nonstop flights available for this destination. The flight search results for this destination with stops are shown below.

Meaning both of those flights will be sharing the aircraft?

Can't seem to book any direct flights DUB-MCO via the United website, think this codeshare has been discontinued

Was looking at dates for next year, so it has been discontinued then for travel after September 2013
