I have checked Dublin Bus and I think there is no direct bus from Drumcondra (Griffith Ave junction) to Northern Cross, but maybe there is someone on this forum that knows the bus routes better than Dublin Bus :)

I have to say that cycling is not option (not because i don't want to, but because i can't)

    Thanks for any replies!

    No direct bus I'm afraid.

You need one of routes 15, 42 or 43 which you can catch on the Malahide Road (you'll need to walk along Griffith Avenue to get to the stop).

Otherwise take any bus into the city centre from Drumcondra and catch one of the above from Eden Quay.
