Cuba in September

    Heading to Cuba for a week at beginning of Sept. Staying in varadero in the blau varadero. Has anyone been/stayed at this hotel?
    Whats varadero like to visit in the evenings as hotel entertainment wouldn't be our thing?

    Apart from havana what trips would be recommended?

    Any other tips or pointers would be greatly appreciated!
