Size L PlanetX SL Pro carbon frameset in black.

The bad news is that it has a crack in the seat stay on the drive side - I had an incident where the rear derailleur caught in the spokes & came off, and unknown to me at the time it must have hit the seat stay right where my Cruds tie onto the frame. I noticed a couple of rides later when I took the Cruds off for the summer. There is a crack from the initial impact going 90% of the way around the tube, very difficult to photograph but I've done my best.

Close-up (somehow manages to look worse than it does in the flesh!):Crack_zps471be718.jpg

Its (IMO) very repairable, either by a third party such as these guys or DIY with a kit such as this one

Sale includes frame, forks, FSA headset, seatclamp, front mech clamp, steerer bung & headset cap - note there is no BB included (its BSA threaded 68mm). Also included is a brand new never used PlanetX branded headset. The bike has done 1133km - apart from the crack its pretty immaculate, just a couple of tiny scuffs & marks. Never raced, crashed or even hit a pothole. Prices from the UK PlanetX site are:

    and the geometry is:

Asking price is €250 ono. I'm in two minds whether to fix it myself, my only reluctance is that really its too similar to the bike I've replaced it with and I would be better off with a winter bike that can take proper mudguards. I'll consider offers, but it would very quickly get to the point where I'm better off keeping it so they would have to be close to asking. I won't sell the fork etc. separately at this stage as the frame on its own is no use to me or anyone else I expect. Having said that, if anyone wants to make an offer for the frame on its own then feel free.

Just for interest I put the frame & fork on the kitchen scales whilst it was stripped down - frame is 1066g inc bottle cage bolts, fork is 398g inc the bung.

I'm between East Co. Galway and Portmarnock at the moment, so meeting up for delivery would be straightforward anywhere close to that route.

I was just about to start fixing it! Is your offer for frame only (excluding fork, headset etc) in which case I'll have a think about it, or is it for the lot in which case thanks but I'd rather hang onto it.

Also I might be interested in a part-ex with your Force derailleurs if you still have them

I sold the derailiers, I have a newish sram rival crank, 53/39 172.5 if your interested I also have a cervelo p2 sl frame 54cm I could do a deal with but I'd want cash my way

I'm after a Rival crank, but unfortunately I need a compact. Not after a TT bike (although it looks lovely...) - I'm looking to build up a winter bike at the moment. Let me know if you're interested in the PX frame on its own.

The frame I'm replacing is a giant ocr once fitted with a 3t funda fork and fully stripped and resprayed black with giant decals... Would that suit ya size medium I'm 5'11" and it's fine for me..

A little bit too small I think - I want to match the geometry of my good bike as close as possible and I would need a 140 stem which is probably getting a bit silly. Thanks anyway!
