Is there any fix for the lip sync issue?? other than changing back from another channel??

I've got the triax tsc 114 and watching RTE last night pic & sound was a good two seconds out:(

(btw - is this a common problem amongst all makes of receivers??)

RTE and the Irish channels on Combi boxes including the TSC 114 are Terrestrial channels. You would be better asking about Lip sync problems on Irish channels over in the Terrrestrial forum.

Its a software issue on the box. You should check that you have the latest firmware on the TSC 114 box as they may have fixed it already if you are on an earlier version of the software.

Unless they have a jog wheel built into the software (sometimes there are hot keys that enable this - and +) it is a question of asking the manufacturer to fix it in a firmware fix.

This may involve emailing a copy of a TS file to them. This is a short recording say one minute of the channels concerned.

Given its Triax, you might be left waiting.

    ^^^^^^^^^^^

i have the latest firmware installed, makes no difference

and doing a quick google this problem seems to be fairly common

You will have to take it into your own hands.

Record the channel that has the sync problem onto a USB device. 1 minute will do.

There will be a TS/TRP file on the USB. Email it to the address I linked above explaining the model box you are using and the audio/video sync issue.

That's interesting what FTA channels are prone to lip-sync.
