Does this really warrant its own thread? There's already a number of identical threads.

Its a public forum lads, can he not ask a question?
    Some idiots around this place..

OP, I can only speak from a Liverpool point of view and i can say only Coutinho stood out in pre-season. He's just a quality player.
Aspas got a few goals here and there but i'd be wary of gim doing it against better teams.
However we do look solid at the back :)

Of course he can ask a question, I wasn't slating him. Just pointing out that we have two threads already active that are discussing the same thing.

    Warning for personal abuse.

Also, Jax, no need to be so smart. Post constructively or don't post at all.

Thought my post was constructive . No better way to find out who played well in pre season than doing the research yourself .

I havnt got the time or interest to read match reports from 20 different teams. I'm only a casual football fan and am only entering the fantasy league for a bit of banter with the lads.

coutinho, zaha, anelka, mirallas, jelavic, giroud, walcott have all had good pre seasons although walcott, coutinho, mirallas and maybe anelka are the only picks I'd recommend going with.

Check either of the threads above and ask the question in there, creating new threads for topics already being discussed clogs up the forum.

If you want proper analysis on pre-season friendlies check FFS. They post an article on friendlies almost every day. See from the weekend:

Preseason performances can bear little resemblance to how they perform in the premiership.
    Danny Graham anyone?

Focus your attentions on ensuring that you have proven performers at the top level in a European league and those who will definitely start matches. After that chase bandwagons.

Kolo Toure is worth a mention. Looks to be first choice for the start of the season and has looked dangerous from set pieces from the 2 games I watched. He had a goal disallowed against Celtic and hit the bar against Valarenga.

I can only speak as a City fan, but Jesus Navas, Fernandinho and Silva have really been on top form in the pre-season.

    Where has Fernandinho been playing?
    What about Negredo?

Fernandinho has been playing in beside Yaya Toure in Cm . Much better options for 8m than him .

Bony for Swansea seems to have hit the ground running and Swansea are an attack minded team so he's worth a look

I think Anelka could be a great pick, quality player and with Long next to him, he has a player who will work hard and hold up the ball

The lad from Hull who plays between the lines, Koren? has been doing well in pre season. He chips with a few goals
