Where are the estates?

I have been looking for a decent estate recently, getting my ground work done before a new year change, prices, specs etc. I am planning on spending around €15k, but for love or money I can't see a decent one anywhere.

Cars I am looking for are

    Mondeo 2.0TDCi 140bhp
    VW Passat TDi
    A4 2.0Tdi (Wouldn't mind a Quattro)
    Accord maybe

Don't want a Skoda, Toyota or any French crap. Or any of the above in bog spec.

I would consider buying UK, but would prefer to buy an Irish one if I can get a good one.

Apart from Carzone and CBG, where else should I be looking? Any good UK sites?

I'd say you'll probably end up going abroad... we Irish don't like estates (I'd have said the same myself previously, but some of the newer ones are niiice)

Try the UK car supermarkets like Cargiant etc maybe?

New model Accord is lovely in estate, as is 159 (if you like Alfas and can find one).

Did you look up North too? Costs of import would be much lower with hardly any travel costs.

    Used Cars NI
    eBay UK
    Auto Trader

I'll just tell you to get an Alfa 159 Ti but i'm presuming thats not in your plans.

Volvo estates, Legacy, 5 series etc. are others to consider

Beat me to it on the 159. I don't think the price of import from the North usually works out as well as from mainland UK though based on research I did before importing mine. They seemed to be priced a little higher for what I was looking for anyway

As stated already the likes of Cargiant and Motorpoint could be good if you wanted to have a choice when you went the the UK as they have huge amounts of cars in stock.
