Cancelling UPC?

We have tv and broadband with upc, we definitely want to keep the broadband but we want to get rid of the tv package now because one of the main reasons we got the tv package was for espn (which stopped working last week)

It cost 150 i think to cancel a package

Would it still cost 150 if we only cancelled the tv and kept the broadband?

Because when we signed up we got espn and now we don't, is that a way to cancel the tv package at a reduced rate?

    Thank you :)

I'm cancelling too now that ESPN has gone. I can't see how they can charge anything as UPC have changed the contract - removal of ESPN.

Best option is to PM the UPC Reps on the 'Talk to UPC' forum with your account number and tell them what you want to do - they usually respond in the working day.
Downgrade cost could depend on whether you are in/out of contract, but usually when you say you want to cancel they put you onto the customer loyalty department and they sometimes offer you a loyalty discount not to change.

    They can, and will charge.
    Hi there,

The channel line ups on our packages are subject to change (as per the Terms and Conditions of your contract), so ESPN no longer being available on the Select or Max packs does not change your current contract status.

    Thanks
