Parking Tickets In Glasgow

I've got my Irish reg car in Glasgow. I got a parking ticket the other day and I'm not quite sure if they can chase me up about it. My car has nothing linking it to the UK as I still pay tax and insurance in Ireland.

I know that if I got a ticket in Northern Ireland, my details couldn't be passed, but I'm not quite sure about how Scotland works. Anyone got any ideas?
