Hi all - does anybody have feedback on living/settling in either of these areas. Hoping to buy a house in the next year, currenty renting after selling our house last year and keen to settle by time eldest starts school next Sept 2014. Want to avoid moving schools, so if we havent bought by time I need to enrol in school, would like to be sure on the area we will settle.
Castleknock has many plus' - park, village, good reputation, lot sports/GAA etc but would only really consider inside m50 part (for closeness to work and family reasons), so choice of houses is limited as our budget is limited!
Navan Road (wouldn't live on main Navan road, too busy, but the Navan Road area, Baggot road, Ashtown etc) - seems ok, so really interested to hear some positive feedback on living here, or negative so aware of any issues/antisocial behaviour.
Young family, school going age next year so really keen to settle on an area and start to become part of community. Would happily rent for another few years if needs be, but would like to be in the location I will settle in long term. Many thanks for your views!
