In Letterkenny we have been getting both saorview and freeview on Sony KDL ....4500 TV from an aerial in the attic.

Since Friday morning, the saorview channels only give sound & black screen, but the freeview channels are all still perfect.

Nothing changed in any connections, aerial or setup.
Have tried the digital auto-tuning but no change.

Any ideas ? Did something change recently in the saorview encoding ?

    Thanks.

p.s. I know the TV is not saorview approved, but has worked up to now.

I am getting the same thing I am using the Triax 537 combo box, but have a Samsung tv that has a built in tuner as well and it works fine with the Irish stations. I am also in Letterkenny, tuning the station on Channel 30, tried few other channels as well but no joy.

These Sony tvs have been mentioned in a few threads here. Most recent one suggests a factory reset provided a cure: http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?p=85554160

Update: All was working when I got home. Didn't have to reset anything.
