tips for portlaoise?

    Hi lads.was dragged along for a round of golf with a mate the other day.
    Im literally a pure beginner as in dont know which clubs do what exactly
    But much to my suprise, im now starting to get hooked!
    I played abbeyleix g.c the other day and shot 114 over all which im told is good

    so im off to portlaoise for my 2nd round of golf and im looking for tips ye might be able to help share??

    it is only your 2nd game. ( good score)

    Dont expect too much, relax enjoy. Hit ball then turf. Dont be too tight on grip and wrists.

    So many new to the game think you sweep the grass then ball.

    Hit down on ball then turf with irons.

    Easier course .

    Dont try hit the ball too hard.
