Movement in Root Canal/Crown

    Hi,

I had a root canal and a crown done a few years back. In the last day or so I have noticed it has got quite loose. Could it be that the crown needs to be reset or is it more likely I will need to get it extracted. Going to make an appointment with my dentist but was just wondering if anyone else has experienced this before?

    Thanks.
    Alan

Yes, there is a small chance that you'll get away with a re cement but much more likely that the underlying tooth root has fractured and usually that means that the tooth is done for...
