Any recommendations for a supplier for high compression pistons and steel rods?

I know theres plenty out there but I want to get them as cheap as I can.

They are for a VW 2.0 16V ABF engine.

    Cheers,

    Murph

The right way to to it is to measure the bores so you know if an overbore is required due to out of round.....

Your best off talking to someone like westward to quote up what you need done. Even if you do it yourself you'll still need some machining.

In terms of pistons JE Wesco pistons are popular. Price will come down to spec.

    Eagle rods are popular...

An engine builder would be well worth a chat.

You may have other items two.
    Bearings, crank re-grind,
    Head skimming.....
    Gaskets
    Head studs
    Rod Bolts..

    You get the idea.

Wossner Pistons and Rods are very good.

    Arrow/DKE for cranks and rods

    JE Pistons

I have used products from all 3 and cant fault any of them in any way.

I used JE in America and Arrow in the UK to custom make low compression forged pistons and a crank for a project of mine several years ago.

Wossner supplied me with forged pistons for another engine/project.
