    Hi all,

Is anyone familiar with the story of an old farmer competing in the Milk Ras on a high nelly back in the day? He was interviewed a few years ago in one of the broadsheets about his fascinating story. He slept rough, stole a farmers bike when his crashed out on his own. He even did a section of one stage running with the bike over his shoulders.

In his farmhouse, he has a homemade gym with cinderblocks on a bar, and goes to the shop once a month and stocks up on mostly tinned produce.

Some of it may be folklore, but its a good story nonetheless

Sorry if thats vague, those are the only points i remember, and i'd like to find the article to send to someone.

    cheers,

    James
