FAS question

Hi there. I have a query re FAS schemes. I was on the Back to Work scheme until last November. I really hoped that I would be able to sustain a living without going back to the social welfare office for support. Things haven't worked out as planned and I have realised that I cannot survive on the little I am earning (on average 70 euro a week, sometimes nothing at all). Anyway, I still really don't want to just go on the dole and have been looking at FAS courses. The thing is it says on the FAS website that you have to be unemployed. I technically am but just haven't been signing on. Does this eliminate me from being entitled to go on a FAS scheme?
Thanks in advance for your answers. GB
