Me personally would apply directly to the company....if you apply directly to them it might show them you are visiting THEIR website, you are interested in their company itself....just my thought on this....good luck!!

    The answer is "it depends".

There are too many factors to know which one is better.

For example, the pushy recruiter might be better at getting HR's attention. Or you could have a situation where the HR person doesn't like the pushy recruiter.

Personally I would try the recruiter first. If nothing is happening, I would apply direct to the company.

Apply direct. A friend told me about a job he applied for that I was also interested in and he went through an agency. I applied direct via e-mail and I have an interview set up while he is still having his CV "processed". He doesn't know should he apply direct now or wait it out

The recruitment agency will probably cost the company a couple of thousand euro. Also there is the risk that the recruitment agency was not tasked with finding someone but are chancing their arm in the hopes they find someone that they can charge for. The only possible benefit of going through the recruitment agency is that if they are officially tasked with finding someone then they may have inside information including how much the company are willing to pay for someone. Its a hard call but I would apply directly to the company as you dont want a third party between you and the job.

I have stopped using agencies! They love you one minute then ignore you and your calls like the remnants of a one night stand!

I apply directly and when I search job websites and click exclude agencies and it brings up all the jobs that companies put up themselves!

Half the agency jobs are prob fake anyways!
I seem to have a a better chance of getting an interview when I apply direct!
