Thinking of availing of the cheap flights to Maastricht with Ryanair. However flights back on Mondays are at 6:55, does anyone know if the shuttle bus or the local bus start that early? From that plan your journey website

It looks like the first bus is at 6AM. Anyone ever gotten that early flight home from Maastricht??

No, the bus does not start early enough for the 6.55 flight.

Best thing is to book a hotel close by like the Golden Tulip and get a taxi to the airport (around 20 quid)

Hotel is very nice though, all new and modern and there's a Maccy dees close by so you don't have to pay the rip off food prices in the hotel :)

Hi, yes I took that flight home before Christmas last year. It's a bugger alright, but was staying in the halls of the University with my niece. She and two other Irish girls were travelling home on the same flight.

We arranged a taxi and negotiated a price €25 quid. Grand altogether.

Maastricht is absolutely fab. Full of buzz, shops, young wans at the Uni, great pubs, restaurants, and it's also very pretty place.

    Highly recommend it.

I've gotten that early flight too and I live Eindhoven. I rented a car from Eindhoven the night before and drove there in the morning to catch it, and you can leave it there. Cost €40, but sure the train down there costs 20.

Plus theres no other option and you'd be paying for a taxi from the Train station anyway.
