Unauthorised overdraft, affect mortgage application?

I had two unauthorised overdrafts last year due to a company taking out money after I though it was cancelled, so I didn't budget for them.

My savings are in a separate account so hence why I went into overdraft.

I'm at a point now where I'm considering getting a mortgage in the next year or two and I'm wondering will the above mentioned overdrafts cause a spanner in the works ?

As long as your account has been within its standard T&Cs for about 6 months, it should be grand, provided it wasn't overdrawn for a long time.

Nah it was only a week, once I noticed the mistake I paid the overdraft.

    Thanks for the information :)
